The traditional general contracting process remains a very popular delivery method for construction projects. This delivery method requires the owner to separately hire and manage a design team to produce all of the drawings and specifications. These contract documents are then distributed to general contractors to bid. Design/Build team

By partnering with the Architect from the beginning, Artizan Constructors is able to offer an innovative, cost-saving approach to the traditional construction project delivery method. Artizan relies on a single point of responsibility contract that is used to minimize risks for the project owner and to reduce the delivery schedule by overlapping the design phase and the construction phase of a project.

By engaging with the architect/designer and the owner during the initial design phase of the project and consulting specialty contractors as necessary, Artizan is able to address any possible conflict in construction in the design phase. This Design/Build Team (DBT) approach to construction with its single point of responsibility carries the clearest contractual remedies for the clients.
